Sivarathri:
This is a festival celebrated by most of the Hindus all over India. This festival reveals spiritual passion of Saivites in India. In Tamilnadu at Chidambaram, in Gujarath at Somnath, In Madhya Pradhesh at Khajuraho, and in Uttar Pradhesh at Varanasi are the places where in the great Siva temples the processions take place in the night and also feast provided for the devotees who participate.
Holi:
It is celebrated in one of the spring day. The festival of Colors. People shower color powder on each other and water and smidgen along forgetting all the differences such as language, caste, gender, class and religion. Music and dance along with event also take place and tempt all onlookers and participants. This is one of the greatest celebrations of India with colors.
Khajuraho Dance Festival:
Khajuraho is a famous temple in India and its sculptures portraying male and female love and romantic relationships. In this dance festival there many renowned dancers participate and try to win in the flood of lights lit. Audiences can view great performances of dancers in this festival.
Gangaur:
The festival of Goddess Parvathi as the mother of prosperity whose blessings will splatter wedded happiness. Idols of Lord Shiva and Gangaur are taken in a demonstration on chariots. Elephants with trumpets blowing at drums beat lead the procession. This festival mainly celebrated in Jaipur and Udaipur of Rajasthan, West Bengal, and Orissa.
